Types of Donations

There are a variety of ways you can support Rutland Regional Medical Center. All gifts in support of the hospital are payable to the Rutland Health Foundation. Please review the information below to determine which option of giving is best for you, or simply donate now.

Direct Gift

This is a convenient and easy way for you to make a cash, stock or credit card contribution. Checks should be made payable to the Rutland Health Foundation, and mailed to:

Pledge through Custom Payment Schedule

You have the option of spreading your pledge over a one year (12 months) or two year (24 months) period, or longer depending on the scope of your gift. We make it easy by sending you an invoice to match your preferred pledge payment schedule.

Charitable Contributions Tax Benefits

All gifts to Rutland Regional Medical Center are tax-deductible as provided by law. Please contact Rutland Health Foundation with questions regarding potential gifts.

IRA Distribution

For taxpayers 70 ½ years of age or older, the IRA charitable distribution allows you to make donations directly to charitable organizations from your IRAs without counting them as part of your Annual Gross Income. This charitable distribution counts toward the required minimum distribution for IRA holders.
