Michael T. Zmurko, MD

About Me

Dr. Zmurko completed his undergraduate work at Penn State University and his medical school training at Howard University in Washington, DC. He is Board certified in Emergency Medicine and began practicing in 2005. Dr. Zmurko finished his residency in Emergency Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, and spent nine years as an Emergency Room Physician at Mercy Medical Center, also in Springfield, MA. Originally from Bowie, Maryland, Dr. Zmurko is very happy to be a part of the Emergency Department team at Rutland Regional.

An avid skier and biker, Dr. Zmurko is excited to be living in Vermont. Coincidentally, his brother, Dr. Matthew Zmurko, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with the Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic at Rutland Regional. Dr. Michael Zmurko resides in Mendon with his wife and children.
