About Me

Dr. Trent W. Shelton, a radiologist with Rutland Radiologists, Inc.*, works in the Diagnostic Imaging department at Rutland Regional.

Dr. Shelton completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and his medical school training at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. After medical school, Dr. Shelton completed an internship at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO before coming to the East Coast for his residency and fellowship in Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

As a radiologist, it’s important to Dr. Shelton to work with physicians and ensure they are getting the right diagnosis for their patients as quickly and accurately as possible. Dr. Shelton also has an expertise in Interventional Radiology – image-guided minimally invasive procedures that can be performed across a variety of medical disciplines.

Dr. Shelton and his family love to spend time together outside, hiking and exploring. They very much enjoy life in Vermont.

*Rutland Radiologists, Inc. is an independent Medical Group that specializes in Diagnostic Radiology, Vascular & Interventional Radiology. It is not a subsidiary or department of Rutland Regional Medical Center.
