Dr. Rivard completed his undergraduate work at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY and his medical school training at University of Colorado in Denver, CO. He then completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, before coming to Rutland Regional.
A Vermonter by birth, Dr. Rivard grew up in Essex and spent time in Rutland visiting his grandparents who lived here. Dr. Rivard is happy to be back in Vermont and enjoys helping patients in the Emergency Department. He understands being in the ED is stressful, and it’s important to Dr. Rivard to make a patient’s experience there as positive as possible.
Dr. Rivard and his family love to mountain bike and ski. They are looking forward to enjoying all that Vermont has to offer.
