Exercise, nutrition, and sleep are key pillars of healthy living, and Andrea Larson, PA-C, has dedicated her career to helping patients live healthier lives. A Vermont native, Ms. Larson lived and worked all over the country for 20 years as an Athletic Trainer before earning her Physician Assistant degree at Albany Medical College. After moving back to Vermont, Ms. Larson worked in various areas of medicine, including primary care, the chronic pain clinic at Rutland Regional and sleep medicine at the Veterans Administration in White River Junction.
We spend a third of our lives sleeping, and sleep disorders can have a profound and debilitating impact on the wellbeing of patients and their families.
Ms. Larson is dedicated to taking care of people, and she very much appreciates that her hometown of Rutland is that community for her. She believes her role is to serve patients as a resource and partner in following a wise treatment plan, working toward a shared goal of improved quality of life and health.
Ms. Larson loves the Rutland area not just for the people here but also for all the things it offers, like hiking, cross country skiing, golf, and horseback riding. When she’s not traveling, she and her husband are home in Pittsford with their two dogs, a Lab and a Bernedoodle.
