About Me

Dr. Lindsay Kleeman-Forsthuber is an orthopedic surgeon at the Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery. Her primary objective is to help her patients maintain a healthy lifestyle, enjoy their recreational activities and live as actively as they desire. She treats knee and hip arthritis, avascular necrosis, joint infections and failed total hip/knee replacements. She offers anterior approach for hip replacement along with partial and total knee replacement options (when indicated) using the latest technology. Dr. Kleeman is actively engaged with research to improve patient-care through evidence-based medicine. Her research projects are broadly directed towards optimizing both non-operative and operative treatments for hip and knee arthritis.

Arthritis is a debilitating disease that deeply impacts quality of life. My job is to help people get back to their active lifestyles.
— Lindsay Kleeman-Forsthuber, MD

Dr. Kleeman grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from University of Vermont Medical School in 2013. She completed her orthopedic residency at Duke University in Durham, NC, and attended fellowship at Colorado Joint Replacement in Denver, CO.
